International Dental Journal of Students’ Research (IDJSR)
Official Publication of Cephorb Medline International Pvt Ltd ®
IDJSR is an ambitious project aiming towards developing the insight of research and review among Dental Students, Practitioners, Researchers and giving them a platform that prioritizes their research to reach the maximum audience.
The Journal was a brainchild of three Undergraduate Dental Students- Kumar Anshul (from MCODS, Manipal, India), Harsh Rajvanshi (from ITS CDSR, Ghaziabad, India) and Ayesha Zaka (from Hamdard Dental College, Karachi, Pakistan) who extensively used social media to include Student Ambassadors from more than 50 countries and an exhaustive Reviewers’ Panel from more than 15 counties to build the IDJSR team.
The first issue of IDJSR (online and peer reviewed) was launched in May 2012 in KARMIC (Kolkata Annual Research Medical Conference). It contained articles from 5 countries and hence IDJSR started as an “International Journal’ in a true sense and was widely welcomed and appreciated by the Dental Fraternity across the globe. During that time the journal was completely free and was under the aegis of Indian Medical Students’ Association (now Indian Medical Association- Student Wing).
In December 2014, the founding team registered a startup with the name of Cephorb Medline International Pvt Ltd and brought the Journal under this registered company. Today IDJSR has 100+ peer reviewed published articles from authors of more than 30 countries. It has an exhaustive Reviewers Panel comprising more than 40 reviewers from around 10 countries and it is indexed in more than 10 databases (including Google Scholar and EBSCO) and online libraries of various universities across the world. The Journal is now in print and is striving to achieve maximum global readability and recognition.
The Journal follows Principles of Transparency laid down by The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME). The peer review, editorial policies and all related information can be accessed in 'About Us'
