Abstract:

Dental students are expected to encounter ethical issues during their clinical practice. Which necessitates the need of designing dental ethical curriculum to that is practical, efficient & more student-based. The purpose of the study was presenting ethical issues may encounter Saudi dental students during their clinical sessions and categorizing those ethical issues and its frequencies of occurring which might help in further understanding of students’ perception of ethics principles and code of professional conduct. It was intended to support the faculty in establishing a strategy for the improvement of the dental ethical curriculum to be practical, efficient and to be more student-based. The results of (n=209) reported high frequencies of some issues as "Conduction of the procedure takes unreasonable longer time due to instruments-related, instructors-related and other causes”.
