International Dental Journal of Students' Research under the aegis of Cephorb Medline International Pvt. Ltd. is organising a pan-India essay competition for Dental Students and Dentists. 




1st Prize - 10,000 INR Cash + Certificate of Accomplishment

2nd Prize - 5,000 INR Cash + Certificate of Accomplishment

3rd Prize - 2,500 INR Cash + Certificate of Accomplishment

'Certificate of Participation' to all the candidates




Any Dental Student/Dentist from India can participate


General rules and information


1. There is a nominal submission fee of 200 INR which can be deposited in the following bank account:

3. The final date to receive (submit) your contribution(s) is 30th September, 2017. Late entries will not be considered.

4. All submissions must contain original material, and must not have been previously published, accepted for publication, or have been a winner in another contest prior to the 30th September, 2017 deadline.

5. All plagiarized contributions will be rejected automatically.  

6. Each person can send only single entry. Contest entries cannot be revised or altered once submitted.

7. The idea should be presented in fewer than 1000 words.

8. We request contributors to refrain from political statements and critique on government policies unless they can be substantiated by facts from peer reviewed journals

9. Similarly, discussing religious aspects and personal beliefs is strongly discouraged.

10. Contributions should not contain biased ideas w.r.t religious beliefs, political preferences etc.

11. Entries will be judged on the following criteriae:

·         Originality and innovation

·         Quality of content

·         Focus and clarity

·         Organized, fluid writing style

·         Authenticity, strength, and distinctness of voice

12. In the event of a tie the decision of the Editor – In - Chief, IDJSR will be final.

13. Winners will be declared as a press release, which will be posted on Facebook, Twitter, RSS Feed and LinkedIn profile in addition to the IDJSR official site. The winners will also be notified via an email.


Terms and conditions


1. Participants shall retain all ownership rights of the submission materials.  However, by entering the competition, participants hereby grant to IDJSR a universal, un-conditional,non-exclusive, non-expiring, transferable, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, adapt, reformat, translate, and otherwise exploit and perform all or any portion of the submission  for any purpose whatsoever, including, without limitation, in connection with the IDJSR network of internet websites and print issues, wireless applications, interactive television, video on demand and any other media or technology (including, without limitation, internet protocol, wireless or interactive platforms or interfaces) through which the IDJSR distribute content to end users, whether now existing or hereafter developed (the “Platforms”), in any and all media formats and through any and all media distribution and advertising and promotional purposes, without accounting, notification, credit or other obligation to the Participants.

2. The decision on the Jury Board will be deemed final and cannot be challenged anywhere.

3. Members of the IDJSR Editorial Board (Editor In Chief, Executive Editors and Associate Editors) are NOT allowed to participate in the contest. However, the ambassadors are allowed.

4. All rules and regulations are subject to reasonable change as required. By agreeing to this Terms and Conditions you automatically agree to future changes.

5. All participants are free to share and publicize their posts in IDJSR Blog as much as they can in any social media platform they may choose. However use of any malware/programs to artificially increase the hits/likes/shares will be strictly dealt with as per appropriate cyber laws and banned from this contest.

6. The Jury shall have the right to disqualify any entries that they deem to be obscene, vulgar, derogatory, inappropriate, or otherwise not in good taste as determined by the Jury in their sole discretion.
